| Pane E Vino Yokohama, Japan, 2002 / 2005 1,192 SF Located near Bashamichi, in the heart of Yokohama City, which served as a distributing pipe for the introduction of western style in 19th Century. Fusion of Western and Japanese cultures is architecturally represented in many buildings throughout this neighborhood. The restaurant integrates these cultures in the use of materials both old and new. The use of sliding and removable partitions can seamlessly integrates private spaces into the public space or conversely be used to separate the spaces to give the space privacy. |
